He plays in the winter snow and he plays in the summertime, and every now and then, he plays outside Red Apple.

He’s Hollis Rounder, “Alaska’s only year-round street singer.”  

“No great claim to fame, don’t  too many  people want the job through the wintertime,” he said, strumming his old stratocaster Tuesday evening.

While he played, people hurried in and out of Red Apple and the Brown Jug behind him and sometimes, they stopped to watch.
