A nationwide educational event dedicated to nanoscale science and engineering will include programs at the Alaska Museum of Science & Nature this week.
The festival — which runs Saturday through April 6 — is organized by the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network. According to its website, the museum also offers nanoscale science outreach programs and workshops to Anchorage students in grades 5-8.
“Hands on exploration of the world you can’t see!” the educator’s guide promises. “Activities guaranteed to surprised!”
The museum is located at 201 N. Bragaw St. and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with admission ranging from $3-5.
