NBA player visits Mountain View

Sunday, Boston Celtics forward Ryan Gomes paid a visit to the Mountain View Boys and Girls Club to meet with kids and teens and speak about the importance of a healthy heart.

Polynesian Lions Club hosts February fundraiser

The Anchorage Polynesian Lions Club is planning a Valentine’s breakfast fundraiser at the Mountain View Lions Den this Saturday, Feb. 7. The club — part of Lions International — volunteers at neighborhood cleanups and other community events throughout Anchorage. The cost for the breakfast is $10 per person, and you can RSVP at 907-250-4142.
