‘The Wiz’

#MyDavisPark

Anchorage’s Parks Department is turning to social media for feedback on the future of Davis Park.

The department is currently creating a new master plan for the 95-acre green space, and asked for park users to share their ideas on Twitter with the hashtag #myDavisPark. As of Sunday night, there were no suggestions.

It’s not too late to weigh in. The department plans on hosting a master plan public open house March 24 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Mountain View Library. The open house is specifically geared toward young people who use the park, according to the municipality, and you can find more information about the entire process here.
