Reports of gunfire brought police to North Flower Street for three nights in a row this week and last.
In one case, multiple shots were fired into two apartments, according to the Anchorage Police Department.
APD spokeswoman Renee Oistad said the first call came just after 4 a.m. May 16, and officers found evidence of “at least six shots” fired into two apartments in a complex on the 100 block of North Flower Street. With no good suspect description, Oistad said, no arrests were made.
At the same time the next morning, at least three callers reported several shots heard around the 400 block of North Flower Street, Oistad said. Then, around 1:40 a.m. Monday, police again responded to the same block for another report of gunshots. Like the night before, Oistad said, officers found no damage or injuries.
Nobody was arrested.
