The Little Free Library on Richmond Avenue is so popular, it’s hard to keep it full.
Kate Cannon estimates the library has gone through nearly 500 donated books since it popped up outside her family’s home earlier this year.
“We’ve had amazing conversations and gotten to know so many more neighbors and people from the community just from putting the library in the yard,” she said.
Want to browse for books or leave one behind? You can find the library near the corner of Richmond and Price Street, and Cannon said there’s always a need for extra reading material.
“The sheer number of kids that stop by to get books is incredible,” she said.
The Richmond Avenue Little Free Library is one of several throughout Mountain View. It was donated by the Anchorage Police Department Employees Association.
