How Mountain View got its name

Ever wonder how the neighborhood got its name?

Historian David Reamer tells the story in a recent column in the Anchorage Daily News: Mountain View, with its sprawling vistas of the Chugach range, was named by area homesteader Norman Lange, who began selling lots in 1940.
