Servicemen and women looking to transition into the civilian workforce can take advantage of a military job fair Wednesday at the Northway Mall.
Just across the street from Mountain View, the job fair is scheduled from noon until 3 p.m. It’s hosted by the Alaska National Guard and Army OneSource, and aimed at current military members, veterans and their families.
There will be employers on site, according to a flier advertising the job fair. People can also participate in mock interviews, career assessments and a variety of job workshops. Organizers ask job seekers to bring proof of military connection — a military or veteran ID or DD-214 — as well as a resume and references with contact information.
