Living, and staying, in Mountain View

All across America, more and more people are staying where they are.

The latest census data shows only about 11 percent of people moved last year — compared to about 14 percent a decade ago. People move to find better housing or to start families or pursue new job opportunities or live closer to work, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

But what makes the vast majority of people stay?

If you call Mountain View home, we want to know why. Does it have to do with housing? Your job? Your family? What keeps you here? Maybe you don’t want to live anywhere else; maybe you can’t.

Leave a comment below or take the poll and let us know what you think, and stay tuned to hear from other Mountain View residents throughout the week.
