The Mountain View Library is celebrating its fifth anniversary this week. Here are a few notable numbers, according to the library.
- 4,951 new library cards issued since 2010
- 367,019 items borrowed
- 464,243 library visitors
The library only continues to grow. The months of June and July saw 2,700 more visitors than the same time period last year, according to branch manager Virginia McClure. And because technology programs are so popular in Mountain View, the library has just become the new home of the MakerBot 3D printer previously kept at the Loussac Library.
