Ongoing construction at Mountain View Elementary School means the neighborhood’s 3,777 registered voters will temporarily share one polling place, according to the Alaska Division of Elections.
Prepare for larger-than-usual crowds at the Mountain View Boys and Girls Club. The community center will serve as the polling place for both North Mountain View precincts during the Aug. 16 primary and Nov. 8 general election, according to the division. A written notice was delivered to neighborhood residents Thursday.
Polls are set to open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. those days, according to the state, and voters can click here for more election information.
