The annual Fur Rendezvous fireworks extravaganza is scheduled to go off over downtown Anchorage Friday beginning at 7:30 p.m. But Mountain View residents don’t need to leave the neighborhood to catch the show: In clear conditions, the display is plainly visible from western edge of Meyer Street. From the hill overlooking Tyson Elementary School, you can see all the festive colors of Fur Rondy light up the evening sky.
