A new neighborhood coffee shop is now serving espresso, baked goods and other refreshments from a drive-through stand on Mountain View Drive.

Pin Ups Espresso does business from a brightly painted purple kiosk in a lot near the corner of N. Klevin Street. It’s the business’s second location in northeast Anchorage — there’s another stand on Commercial Drive — but it’s a first for Mountain View Drive.

So far, Pin Ups is the only drive-through coffee shop on the neighborhood’s main road.

The stand opens at 6:30 a.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. weekends, and also offers delivery services to neighborhood businesses.
