Bed, Bath & Beyond is preparing to close its doors at Glenn Square.
The store, which neighbors Michaels and Petco, is one of the largest and oldest at the Mountain View mall. It opened in 2008 when Glenn Square was new, and for 10 years it remained one of the shopping center’s anchor tenants.
Now yellow “store closing” banners hang across the front windows. Inside, more yellow signs advertise a storewide clearance event and 20 percent discounts. The store is expected to close later this fall, employees said.
Glenn Square is operated by JL Properties, an Alaska property development and management firm. A representative for the company could not immediately be reached for comment Wednesday; neither could a representative for Bed, Bath & Beyond.
The national retailer will keep its location on E. Dimond Boulevard, according to signs in the windows at the Mountain View store.

Wow! I didn’t realize it had been ten years. Sorry to see them go.
